Where do these file
extensions keep coming from?
- How can you stop this from happening?
- Open Fetch and click on Customize.
- From Customize, select Preferences.
- In the Drop Down menu, select Uploading.
- If there IS a check next to "Add file
format..." remove it.
- This will stop the Macintosh from adding
additional extensions to the end of the files you are uploading.
This is great, but
what about the files already uploaded?
- FIRST you must be dialed into Maqs.Net
and connected to your public_html directory with Fetch.
- Once connected, click once and highlight
the file you want to change the name of.
- Once highlighted, select Remote from the
file menu up top.
- Select Rename File... and type into the
text box the name you want the file to be CHANGED TO.
